I ask people to use their imagination to think of a scenario and say it in five words or less.
I interpret the idea and use a sewing machine to draw the image on to fabric.

So much has happened to sew these ''patches''.
It is asked often, how long does it take for one to be made -
Forty years. Because when does the making of the patch begin ?
When the needle comes down to the fabric, when the machine is being threaded, or when i get out the spindles, cut the fabric, or even have charged the battery to roll out the "Solar Sewing Rover" / portable sewing machine.
And the shirts, ties, and dresses full of sewing designs; all of which fueled the sewing evolution. And making CANDLES ; which literally ignited the original idea to make functional Art . Then at last, all the drawings and paintings - the sketchbooks that have and still do fill my time.

Note : people have a hard time limiting themselves to only five word . It's a flexible rule, and at times beneficial to balance the details.
